Features

Streamline Your Workflow

Every tool you need to design, visualize, and deliver professional signage—from precise hardware placement to AI-enhanced backgrounds, and customer space integration.

Mounting hardware

Visualize exact hardware placement in realistic renders. Show clients precisely how the finished sign will look, speed up approvals with accurate representations, and present professional proposals that clearly communicate your vision.

Visible wiring details

By including wiring representations in your renders, you can help clients visualize the final appearance and understand how lighting elements integrate into the overall desig, and set realistic expectations.

Custom backboard design

Complete control over backboard color and transparency. Visualize backboard splitting for shipping, preview how opacity affects illumination, and test color combinations against brand guidelines before production.

Pre-built presets

By saving your frequently used configurations—including colors, illumination settings, and material specifications—you can instantly recall setups, preserve consistency, and eliminate repetitive configuration work.

Illumination techniques

By experimenting with different lighting methods and colors in the digital space, you can help clients visualize day and night appearances, and select the perfect illumination before committing to production.

Client Space Integration

Your clients can capture angle-aligned photos of actual walls using a camera app with a grid overlay. These real-world images serve as authentic backgrounds for visualizations, so mockups reflect the actual installation site.

This

Works Best When

Plug&Brand is built for predictable, production-ready results. That means the system has clear boundaries. These boundaries exist to protect your time, your brand consistency, and the reliability of your output.

You're Small & Ambitious

You know what you want, have your clear vision, even if you lack the design skills.

You're Scaling

The business is scaling beyond breaking even, and you're ready for investing in systems.

You're Productive

You appreciate productivity and efficient workflows, and want to activate beast mode.

Constraints

You Need To Know

The Plug&Brand system introduces a wide range of features and benefits that enables small businesses of producing professional visuals from day one, however, like anything, it has its constraints.

PS dependency

The workflows run in Photoshop and depend on well-structured PSD/PSB files & our proprietary plugin software. If the file structure is broken, the controls and automations can’t behave predictably, but you can always request a fresh copy.

Local Resources

PSD/PSB files grow larger with holistic workflows and require more RAM to run smoothly—especially when multiple workflows are open simultaneously. Each workflow page states the recommended RAM, with 8 GB being the minimum.

Internet required

AI generation and plugin operation require an internet connection. While the plugin is designed to still work if your internet connection is not stable, AI generation might require a stable connection.

PS Version Stability

Photoshop receives periodic updates, which can sometimes break the plugin’s compatibility. This is why you’ll find the compatible/ tested version(s) stated in each workflow’s page. (26.10+; typically you should stay on the tested version.

Model Specific Limits

Output sizes, aspect ratios, and reference behaviors vary by AI model. The system surfaces these limits and expects you to work within them. Refer to best practices (link in plugin guide tab) to achieve the best outcomes.

Probabilistic AI

Even with good preset prompts, AI can produce “impressive but unusable” outputs. The workflow assumes you’ll judge outputs by usability and keep only what passes. Follow the best practices mentioned in the plugin guide tab.

Input

Requirements

Input requirements vary by workflow in Plug&Brand systems, each workflow will have its own input requirements, for this workflow, you'll need the following input.

Main Sign Design

This is the flat design layer that has the lettering/ logo/ icons, and it has to be on a transparent background. You'll find video tutorials in the documentation on how you can achieve these if you don't already know.

Optional Sign Design

This is a supporting aspect of the sign design (transparent background), could be a different technique applied to a specific part of the design, or a different depth of the dimensional sign.

Optional Backboard Design

This is the shape of the backboard you want to have (transparent background). You can control several aspects in this layer; like splitting, shape, offset, etc.

Optional Mounting Screws

This is the aligned placements of the mounting screws (transparent background). You'll find video tutorials in the documentation on how you should approach it.

Optional On A Box Design

This is the shape and aspect ratio of the box that's going to host the sign.
