P&B KeyCast is a Windows desktop application published by Plug&Brand. This policy explains how information is handled when you use the application.
Keystrokes
KeyCast processes keyboard input locally on your Windows device for the purpose of displaying keystrokes on screen. The content of your keystrokes is not sent to Plug&Brand, Cloudflare, advertisers, or other third parties, and KeyCast does not store a history of your typed content.
Promotional media
KeyCast may retrieve promotional images or videos directly from Cloudflare R2 over HTTPS. KeyCast does not include keystroke content or user-specific advertising identifiers in these media requests. As with ordinary Internet communications, Cloudflare processes technical connection information, such as the connecting IP address, as necessary to deliver requested content.
Promotional links
Promotional content may contain links that open in your default web browser. These links may include non-user-specific UTM parameters identifying KeyCast, the advertising medium, or a campaign. KeyCast does not use these parameters to identify individual users. Websites you choose to visit have their own privacy practices and policies.
Cookies and analytics
KeyCast does not contain an embedded web browser, does not set advertising cookies, and does not use third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
If Plug&Brand elects to receive app analytics or error-reporting information provided by Microsoft through Microsoft Store services, that information will be used for application performance, reliability, distribution, and improvement in accordance with Microsoft’s applicable Store terms.
Data sharing and advertising
KeyCast does not sell personal information and does not use keystroke content for advertising or profiling. Promotional content is not personalized using users’ keystroke activity.
Changes
This policy may be updated if KeyCast’s features or data practices change. The current version will be made available at this location.
